European Parliament elections are held in Estonia on 09 June 2024. During the election week from 03 to 09 June, citizens permanently living abroad can also vote at all polling stations in Estonia. Formore information about the elections, please see here.

Both Estonian citizens permanently living abroad and voters temporarily staying abroad who are entered in the list of voters have the right to vote abroad.

There are tree possibilities to vote abroad

You can vote by using the voter application on the website from 8.00 on 3 June 2024 until 19.00 on 8 June 2024.
E-voting requires a secure computer with an internet connection and an ID card with a reader or a mobile-ID with PINs.

E-voting at the Embassy is available from Monday 03 June until Wednesday 05 June from 10:00 to 17:00.

To vote, send a voting request by letter to the Embassy at Rue Guimard 11-13, 1040 Brussels or electronically to the email address [email protected] by 10 May 2024 at the latest. Late applications will be disregarded.

Please note to the request your home address and add a copy of your valid identity document.

The ballot must be returned to the embassy by 24 May 2024 at the latest.

Voting abroad | Elections in Estonia

You can vote at the Estonian Embassy in Brussels on

27.05.2024 at 10:00-15:00
28.05.2024 at 13.00-18.00

To vote, you must bring a valid identity document.

NB! An Estonian citizen will not be included in the Estonian list of voters or will be removed from the list, if the person has been included in the list of voters of another EU member state (on the basis of information received from the member state). Changes to the voters list will be made from 10 May 2024.


  • Please check in advance that your identity document is valid on the day of voting.
  • If you wish to vote electronically, check that you have valid PINs.
  • In order to vote, the person must be at least 18 years old and be included in the list of voters, which means that they must have a residential address entered in the population register. A person may vote in European Parliament elections in only one Member State.
