🌍 Join World Cleanup Day in Brussels on 19 September 2026
We warmly invite you to join the Estonian cleanup team on Saturday, 19 September at 11:00 in the European Quarter: Square Marguerite 1, 1000 Brussels.
Our team will be led by Ambassador Katrin Juhandi. In cooperation with the City of Brussels, we will make sure that all the necessary equipment – gloves, litter pickers and rubbish bags – is available on site.

World Cleanup Day is Estonia’s gift to the world. What started as an Estonian initiative has grown into a global movement and has been recognised by the United Nations.

If you still have some energy left after the cleanup, be sure to stop by Cinquantenaire Park – from 10:00 to 13:00, teams from Brussels’ cleaning services will be on site, giving you a chance to learn more about their work, take a closer look at their vehicles and try your hand at various games. Manneken-Pis and Jeanneke-Pis will also be joining in the cleanup spirit.

Cleanup activities are taking place across the city. The participating districts include 1000 Bruxelles, 1020 Laeken, 1030 Schaerbeek, 1040 Etterbeek, 1090 Jette, 1120 Neder-Over-Heembeek, 1130 Haren, 1150 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, 1160 Auderghem, 1190 Forest.
